Ferrari 308 GTBi/GTSi quattrovalvole

The switch from carburettors to fuel injection systems and the introduction of new emissions standards had a considerable impact on the performance of the 308 GTBi compared to its predecessor, the 308 GTB. The challenge now was to solve this problem, and the introduction of four valves per cylinder soon proved to be the optimal solution. This innovation was aimed at compensating for the loss of power and repositioning the car at the top of its class.
