Jaguar XJ Series

The Jaguar XJ is the manufacturer's flagship model. The first generation, called the Series I and unveiled on 26 September 1968, succeeded all previous Jaguar saloons from the 240 through to the Jaguar Mark X, and was the last model significantly shaped by company founder Sir William Lyons. For decades, the cars retained a strong family resemblance. With the launch of the Jaguar XJ (X351) in 2009, this tradition was abandoned and the design was completely overhauled.
