Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6

"Acceleration isn't everything. Power isn't everything. Elasticity isn't everything. But all together, that's a 911 Turbo."

In order to once again offer a modern and marketable vehicle, the Porsche 964 was developed at the end of the 1980s. It featured many technical solutions: the car received an entirely new light-alloy chassis, and the new 3.6-litre engine featured twin ignition with knock control and a regulated three-way catalytic converter. Despite the many innovations, the Porsche 911 model designation was retained; by this point, the term 911 was already too strongly associated with Porsche to be given up.
