\u00c4nderungen auf. F\u00fcr die Formel-1-Saison 1976 wurden neue aerodynamische Regeln eingef\u00fchrt, was unter anderem bedeutete, dass der Wagen keine Airbox mehr hinter dem Cockpit besass. Stattdessen wurden in die Seiten des Cockpits NACA-f\u00f6rmige Lufteinl\u00e4sse eingebaut, die die Luft in jede Zylinderbank des 12-Zylinder-Boxermotors leiteten. Der 312T2 wurde von Ferrari in den Formel-1-Saisons 1976 und 1977 von Niki Lauda, Clay Regazzoni, Carlos Reutemann und Gilles Villeneuve eingesetzt. Er wurde auch in den ersten beiden Rennen des Jahres 1978 eingesetzt, bevor er durch den 312T3 ersetzt wurde.
