Der Miura war der erste Supersportwagen, den der italienische Stier produzierte, und wohl auch der erste Supersportwagen, den die Welt je gesehen hatte. Als er auf den Markt kam, wurde er von den Zuschauern mit Erstaunen und Verwunderung aufgenommen, da er keinem anderen Auto in der Geschichte des Automobils \u00e4hnelte. Seine ikonischen Linien sind zum Teil auf die Platzierung des Motors zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren, der quer hinter der Fahrgastzelle eingebaut wurde. Der 3&#8217;929 cm\u00b3 gro\u00dfe V12-Motor mit Weber-Doppelvergaser leistete 385 PS, wurde von einem F\u00fcnfgang-Schaltgetriebe angetrieben und verf\u00fcgte \u00fcber unabh\u00e4ngige Aufh\u00e4ngungen vorne und hinten.<\/p>\n<p>Das vielleicht Unglaublichste am Lamborghini Miura &#8211; und es gibt viele unglaubliche Dinge am Miura &#8211; ist, dass er nie h\u00e4tte gebaut werden d\u00fcrfen. Das Auto, benannt nach Spaniens wildester und gef\u00fcrchtetster Kampfstierrasse, begann als Feierabendprojekt von Ferruccio Lamborghinis jungem technischen Direktor und seinem Stellvertreter, Giampaolo Dallara und Giampaolo Stanzini.<\/p>\n<p>Lamborghini hatte sich bereits von einem erfolgreichen Traktorenhersteller zu einem Sportwagenhersteller gewandelt und war f\u00fcr seinen brillanten mechanischen Verstand und seine Besessenheit von Spitzenleistungen bekannt. Dieser Mann sagte einst zu Enzo Ferrari, dass sein 250 GTO nicht gut genug sei. Enzo sagte ihm, er solle Sand schaufeln und bei Traktoren bleiben. Stattdessen baute Lamborghini den 350 GTV, einen Zweisitzer mit Frontmotor und Hinterradantrieb, der zum Missfallen von Enzo Ferrari in Italien schnell zu Ruhm gelangte.<\/p>\n<p>Der Erfolg des GTV brachte Dallara und Stanzini zum Tr\u00e4umen. Sie liessen sich von Rennsport-Ikonen wie dem Ford GT und dem Ferrari 250 Le Mans inspirieren, um ihre eigene Mittelmotor-Maschine zu entwickeln. Das Problem war nur, dass Lamborghini an der Perfektionierung von GT-Autos interessiert war, nicht an Rennsportabenteuern. Sie wagten es nicht, \u00fcber Zeichnungen und Pl\u00e4ne hinauszugehen. Schliesslich fassten sie eines Abends im Fr\u00fchjahr 1965 den Mut, ihrem Chef ihre Idee zu zeigen. Zu ihrer \u00dcberraschung war Ferruccio beeindruckt und gab ihrem Wunschtraum gr\u00fcnes Licht.<\/p>\n<p>Das resultierende Prototyp-Chassis wurde P400 genannt und war mit einem quer eingebauten 4-Liter-V12-Motor ausgestattet. Der Motor, das Getriebe und das Differential wurden als eine Einheit gebaut, wobei f\u00fcr alle drei Hauptteile die gleiche Schmierung verwendet wurde. Diese Konstruktion war l\u00e4cherlich komplex, aber die einzige M\u00f6glichkeit, die Verpackung zu realisieren und ein niedriges Profil zu erhalten.<\/p>\n<p>Der P400 wurde auf dem Turiner Autosalon 1963 als nacktes Chassis vorgestellt. Der n\u00e4chste Schritt war die Karosserie. Ferruccio beauftragte den legend\u00e4ren Karosseriebauer Nuccio Bertone und seinen jungen Vordenker, den f\u00fcnfundzwanzigj\u00e4hrigen Marcello Gandini, den P400 sch\u00f6n aussehen zu lassen. Gandini arbeitete den ganzen Winter 1965\/1966 hindurch fieberhaft an der Gestaltung der Linien. Das Timing war knapp; der erste Miura wurde nur einen Tag vor der Messe fertiggestellt und auf einen Transporter nach Genf verladen.<\/p>\n<p>Der Wagen wurde fast \u00fcber Nacht zum Must-have in der Garage eines jeden Wohlhabenden. Urspr\u00fcnglich als Kleinserie geplant, zwang die schiere Zahl der Bestellungen, die in Sant&#8216; Agata eingingen, Lamborghini dazu, allein im ersten Jahr 108 Miuras zu bauen. Insgesamt wurden nur 474 Original-Miuras gebaut (manche sagen, es waren 475). Der Miura S, der 1968 vorgestellt wurde, verf\u00fcgte \u00fcber mehr Leistung (370 statt 350 PS), verbesserte Bremsen und eine etwas h\u00f6here H\u00f6chstgeschwindigkeit von 280 km\/h. Zwischen seiner Vorstellung 1968 und 1971 wurden insgesamt nur 140 Exemplare verkauft.<\/p>\n<p>Der letzte Serien-Miura, der Miura SV, wurde 1971 vorgestellt. Die auff\u00e4lligste \u00c4nderung des SV war, dass Motor und Getriebe nun getrennt waren. \u00c4nderungen an der Aufh\u00e4ngung behoben die ber\u00fcchtigten \u00dcbersteuerungsprobleme, und die Leistung stieg auf 385 PS bei 7850 U\/min. Er deb\u00fctierte zusammen mit dem Countach-Konzept, das nur ein Jahr sp\u00e4ter der Nachfolger des Miura werden sollte.<\/p>\n<p>Der Miura war zwar nicht das erste Auto von Lamborghini, aber er war das erste in der Form, die f\u00fcr Lamborghini typisch werden sollte &#8211; grosse, laute Motoren, die hinter dem Fahrer montiert waren und atemberaubend gestylte Coup\u00e9s antrieben.
